Top 5 Best Presents:

Hello there Planet Earth.
We inhabit a dangerous world full of amazing yet dangerous creatures.
In every pocket of our little chunk of the solar system, there is something that can kill us and the ways in which such creatures can push us to our demise are incredibly fascinating.
Have you ever caught yourself pondering as to what the deadliest animals scattered around our planet are?
Because I know I have and that’s why today, on Top 5 Best, we’re looking at 5 deadly animals.

5 DEADLY ANIMALS

NUMBER 5: GOLDEN POISON DART FROG
Native to the rainforests of central and South America, these small, colourful amphibians pack an unexpected and highly poisonous punch many wouldn’t suspect based on their seemingly gentle exterior.
Commonly sighted as the most poisonous animals alive, contained within these frogs is enough poison to send over 10 grown men to their graves.
The belief of wildlife researchers is that these dangerous little creatures gather their venom from plant poisons within the termites, beetles, ants and other insects in which they prey on.
Studies have often found that when this species of frog is born and nurtured in captivity, they tend not to develop venomous capabilities, and this observation points to the notion that their venom must be sourced from the diet their environment presents them with.
Insanely, simply touching a frog of this species can be deadly to human beings but there is a very good reason for why touching them is deadly to anything: It’s their defense.
This little frog has very few predators in the wild because it is common knowledge within the ecosystem it inhabits that making a meal out of one of these colourful frogs is writing a death certificate for yourself.

NUMBER 4: GREY WOLVES
These carnivorous mammals hunt in packs and roam the lands of Canada and the North of the United States with small numbers apparent in Europe also.
With a top speed of 28mph, grey wolves are not especially fast but what they lack in speed, they make up for in endurance.
Their key quality as hunters is their remarkable stamina and wolves have been known to chase down their prey for a whole 24 hours if the occasion calls for such fetes.
As it is commonly known, they are pack hunters who rely heavily on their senses to effectively locate their prey, and they do this with sharp hearing and a strong sense of smell.
There is no greater example of their pack mentality than when they hunt.
Grey wolves are incredibly strategic in how they hunt, and a pack on the prowl for prey can spend days tracking their food before making that first vital move.
When they manage to bring their prey down, wolves do not hesitate and they are not preservative when it comes to food.
A single wolf can happily chow down 9kg of raw meat in one sitting and this fact, combined with their endurance are the reasons you don’t want to encounter a pack of hungry wolves.
However, it is rare that wolves will attack humans and in Alaska, where there is a population of wolves estimated at between 60,000 – 70,000, there has been only one documented fatality.

NUMBER 3: CAPE BUFFALO
These buffalo wander the open and wooded savanna searching for grassy areas which serve as both food and cover.
They are an aggressive and speedy powerhouse capable of charging at speeds of up to 35 mph with a force of 590 kg behind their charge. Their large horns function as a brutal weapon of impalement and can exceed 3 feet and if faced with one of these monsters, it might be wise to get out of the way.
Despite possessing the ability to cause serious damage to anything that crosses them, these animals are herbivores and use their strength only in defense of predators.
In fact, they are one of the few animals that is capable of defending themselves against Lions, and they even manage to kill them from time to time.
However, Lions do kill and feast on these muscley giants.
Despite falling prey to Lions, these Buffalo don’t take any prisoners when it comes to other sour aspects of African existence.
They are reported to be the number 1 killer of hunters in the continent, and they justly deal out their own brand of amends more so than any other African animal.

Since then Varya has been able to make the Guinness book of world records multiple times. At age 4 she could lift 56 pounds and by age 5 she almost quadrupled that weight by lifting 196 pounds! Vanya grew up and so did her strength, and by the age of 14 she lifted a whopping 660 pounds. She says that she plans to win Olympic medals in the future!

10 Most Dangerous Ocean Animals

Scroll to the bottom for footage links

Why hello there planet Earth.
You know, it’s surprising that everybody out there in Youtube land is so obsessed with aliens and mythical creature sightings when we already have enough stuff in the ocean that’ll have you weeping like a little beatch.
Have you ever wondered what the most dangerous animals swimming in our oceans are?
Because I know I think about it and that’s why today on Top 5 Best, we’re taking a look at the 10 most dangerous ocean animals.

STONEFISH
First up, it’s a swimming rock that can make you dead. As the most venomous fish in the ocean, it is commonly believed that stonefish kill their prey with venom but this is not true.
Their venom is used as nothing more than defense against predators and it injects its poison into attackers with 13 sharp dorsal fin spines.
The way stonefish really kill their prey is by camouflaging against rock or coral.
They then wait for the perfect opportunity to quickly swim and strike which it achieves in a time of 0.015 seconds.
Its defensive venom is powerful and if you accidently step on a stonefish, you will most likely be dead in less than one hour and insanely, they can survive out of water for 24 hours so be careful when you’re walking on rocky coasts or beaches.
Despite being the most venomous fish in the ocean, stonefish are still preyed on by Sharks, Rays and Japanese cuisine.
MORAY EEL
The serpent like Moray Eel is as ugly as it is swift.
Measuring up to 13 feet in length, this fish enjoys a wide range of surprising predatory food including sharks, octopus, squid, cuttlefish and many, many more.
Although they are not considered to be aggressive as long as you leave them and their burrows alone, they are commonly filmed attacking divers with their razor sharp teeth, and that has got to hurt when this eel’s jaw is lined with backwards facing teeth to help it rip the flesh from its prey.

LIONFISH
This camouflaged fish can have up to 18 dorsal spines which it uses to deliver defensive venom against predators.
Similarly to the stonefish, this is purely a method of defense and it does not use its venom to hunt but depends on its camouflage and ninja reactions to capture smaller fish and shrimp.
Even though a lionfish sting is incredibly painful for human beings, the chances of a human dying from its sting are slim.
The side of effects of its sting are nausea, difficulty breathing, swelling, blistering and infection.
The side effects are extremely painful and uncomfortable but the lionfish’s sting rarely causes death and there are no recorded cases where a lionfish has killed a person.

STINGRAY
Stingrays are generally not threatening to people and very much seem to know and love us, but they do have the ability to casually murder us if they so wish.
This bizarre relative of the shark has a tail with a serrated, venomous barb on the end of it, meaning it can dice your flesh open as a knife would.
This is why the Aborigines once used them as spears and daggers because even after a stingray is dead, their barbs are still venomous.
Although they are generally friendly, stingrays are not toys to be played with as the TV personality Steve Irwin discovered in 2006.
After an entire career of messing about with crocodiles, Steve Irwin met his demise when a stingray quickly stabbed him in the chest multiple times whilst making a documentary in the Great Barrier Reef in Northern Queensland, Australia.
Irwin’s cameraman Justin Lyons said the pair were looking for something to film when they came across the 8 foot wide ray and that he believes the animal mistuck Irwin’s shadow for one of its predators: the tiger shark. Crikey!

BLUE RINGED OCTOPUS
Next up, it’s the neon nightmare that is the blue ringed octopus.
Taking its name from an obvious trait, this predator uses its colourful blue rings to warn predators it will poison them and to intimidate the prey it chases.
This octopus is one of the most toxic animals on the planet and strangely, doesn’t create its own venom but creates poison by collecting bacteria from reefs and rocks which it stores in its salivary glands.
